Elite Gymnastics is an achievement-based, goal-oriented youth sport program designed to allow your child to experience success, develop gymnastic skills, and enhance their basic motor abilities in an environment which is both fun and stimulating. To accomplish all that we have set out to do, we will all have to work together by observing the following rules:
Children may not be left unattended while their siblings are in class. Children may not leave the building at any time unless escorted by their parent or guardian. Children are not allowed to play outside unsupervised. Children may not be allowed to play outside in the parking lot or woods while their friend or sibling attends class.
The siblings or friends of students should stay in the room with their attending adult while students are in class. A child’s behavior in this school should be the same as it is in any other school. They should not become a disruption to parents or others who are observing class. They should not be allowed to roam the office area, stand on chairs, bounce balls or become inordinately loud.
Children are not allowed in the gym area or on the equipment before or after class. Our supervision is basically limited to the area inside the gym. It is the parents’ responsibility to see their children from the car to the gym and back.
Students may not chew gum during class. Gum chewing poses a potentially serious choking risk. In fact, children will not be allowed to chew gum anywhere in the building.
Students may not wear wrist watches, necklaces, large loop-type earrings, or other hardware such as belt buckles during class. Stud earrings are acceptable.
“Cut off” jeans may not be worn during class Girls aged four and up are required to wear a leotard. Shorts are acceptable if they are not too long and loose. Shirts over leotards are not allowed without permission from Stacey.
Parents are encouraged to stay and observe their child’s class. But please do not direct your child from the sidelines or try to communicate with them through the windows. Also, parents are not allowed on the floor during class without Dr. Rudd’s permission.
Absolutely NO SHOES on carpeted areas. No food or drink allowed in the gym.
Please, no flash photography while kids are practicing. The USAG strongly recommends against flash photography during class and workouts. Please do not bring a child to class who is known to be sick. Though this should go without saying, it is amazing how many parents bring sick children to class. Colds, fever, flu, upset stomach and other illnesses born by a single child cause everyone to suffer.
Please throw garbage in the garbage cans which may be found in each room in the office area. Please do not litter the grounds or parking lot or allow your children to do so. Throwing garbage in or around this facility will constitute grounds for immediate dismissal.
If you ever have any questions or need any feedback on your child’s progress, please do not hesitate to call Dr. Stacey Rudd at 903 504-5539. Dr. Rudd and his staff are here to give your child the best gymnastics experience possible and to aid in their progress in any way that they can.
